Premier Investment firm specializing in private equity investments in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and Turkey (MENASAT) region, headquartered in the UAE, with assets under management of over US$ 5 billion has launched a multi-strategy hedge fund.

Having raised fresh capital to invest in the above regions, added internationally experienced senior investment professionals to the management team the firm is looking to add a Senior Risk Manager to its business.

Requirements

1) 5+ years of experience gained at reputable blue-chip Hedge Fund
2) Market & Investment risk management experience
3) Quantitative, articulate and detail orientated individual
4) Has to have a strong understanding of financial markets/products with a bias towards risk management
5) Medium term view for the MENASA region
6) Fluency in Arabic is a plus but not a prerequisite


Responsibilities/Skills Needed :

1) Collection and reporting of various risk metrics for the hedge fund
2) This will include Value at Risk and other proprietary measures of risk as well as performance reporting
3) The candidate will report to senior management , PM and clients
4) Experience with Risk Metrics, Bloomberg, Excel/VBA and other quantitative and qualitative tools are advantageous
