LRC manages all aspects of risks, such as credit loss, volatility of market prices, operational failures, liquidity shortages, regulatory and legal matters. Credit Operations
Relationship and Project Management for Funds
Candidate will be responsible for reengineering and improving the data, systems, processes & policies supporting fund management for Deutsche Bank. Experience in funds is required (i.e. hedge funds, pension and mutual funds), from either an organizational which has extensive experience in/exposure to funds, or someone from a large fund manager directly. Off shoring or near shoring would also be important.
The primary role is to facilitate data management and analysis and drive LRC as well as Bank wide initiatives to create efficiencies for Deutsche bank in the area of Fund management.
Lead the restructuring of processes and policies for on-going fund management
Define and build tools to support monitoring individual and portfolio credit/risk as well as capture industry fundamentals for funds
Act as intermediary between operational functions, business units, senior credit officers and LRC senior management to lead the following:
Create efficiencies in the credit process - local and offshore
Create and manage a process to identify impracticable or excessive risks within the funds portfolio report
Work with Legal and Collateral Management to design a process to expedite the execution of Repurchase Agreements, Master Forward Agreements and ISDA documentation
Create efficiencies in the vetting and setting up new credit relationships, setting risk ratings and trading limits for funds
Provide project management structure to ensure that the new processes are implemented successfully and become Run-the-Bank activities
Coordinate the definition of business & system requirements
Analyze a variety of ad-hoc issues and opportunities, developing recommendations, action plans and where appropriate transition plans to alternative teams & locations
Position Requirements
Degree in Economics, Business or IT.
Minimum 5 years of banking/financial services experience in credit, funds data management, lending and/or marketing with strong credit/risk and financial analysis skills
Should possess a broad based knowledge of trading products, corporate finance, legal and compliance issues, as well as documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be assertive, independent professional, as well as a team player, with the ability to balance the demands of business development with prudent/risk judgment
Meticulous and ability work under pressure and tight deadlines
Quick & sound decision making
Strong Microsoft Excel & Access Skills required
